I liked it.

Wolverine has been an integral part of the X-Men since the early 80′s, but I never enjoyed his solo mags. So to me this movie was a cool distillation for the casual fan, and the special effects were pretty spectacular for the most part. I’m glad I saw it on the big screen.

I’m going to watch this eventually, but mostly just to see five minutes of the Blob.

So what, exactly, was awesome. I can give you that some people would think it was “okay”…not sure why someone thinks “awesome”. CGI claws that look fake and move around Wolvie’s hands…Wolverine walks away from more fights than he starts…Gambit comes back to get in the middle of a Wolverine & Sabretooth fight when he had more reason to escape…Deadpool having katana-blades come out of his arms that would make it impossible for him to bend his arms and fight effectively…Wolverine getting ADAMANTIUM bonded to his skeleton and be okay 15 seconds later and then start hearing things while in pain, underwater…bah.

Personally, I thought the movie was awesome, the best part being Ryan Reynolds as Wade Wilson. The worst part (Of any movie ever) was Deadpool having his mouth stitched up (Not to mention that my cinema went with the ‘Logan in a bar’ ending, rather than the ‘Deadpool aint dead’ ending).
