I’m spending way too much time trying to figure out what’s on Jamal’s shirt.

i was half expecting mike tyson to show up dressed as spider-man

    His Shirt: “Florida”, I suppose.

Man, do I like this webcomic. Great work.

It’s a shirt for Flooz. My thought behind it is that Jamal has attended a bunch of Internet start-up parties. He’s received a bunch of free swag shirts from failed start-ups and uses them as sleep shirts.

It wouldn’t surprise me if somewhere on the net this very thing has been uploaded.

One more reason I avoid video reviews.

I personally disliked Carnage, but I can see his appeal as a villain.

I actually never really understood the argument that Venom was what runied Spider-Man 3. The film’s plot was much more about Venom and the black-suit then it was about Sandman. If anything HE was the villain that felt like they’d been shoved in there at the last minute (especially when you factor in the rather forced sub-plot about him having been the one to REALLY kill Uncle Ben…)

    Absolutely agreed, Silent-Hal.

Part of the reason is that Sandman, despite not fitting the theme of the movie, was treated an awful lot better. Spot-on casting, great special effects, fun fight scenes, a ton more screentime, and even a little bit of characterization (as empty and cliched as it was).

While Venom, despite being the logical conclusion the story was building up to the entire time, was treated almost as an afterthought. Brock was given no humanizing moments, nothing inventive was done with his CGI or action scenes, and he was barely around long enough to register.
