Then She was only using the Batman movie, thats evil instead of doing a fair critic she was just trolling to complete her agenda

  2. Greg Hatcher

Please tell me you sent this to Kelly Thompson and Sonia Harris over at CSBG…. never mind, I will.

  3. Rin

I found this via shares on Facebook. The last panel had me cracking up out loud. 🙂

  4. RaijinK

Or she did do a fair critique as opposed to dishonestly tempering it for the sake of avoiding controversy.

Is slightly less fervor over TDKR compared to TDK a sign of fans getting more even-headed, or just TDKR not being worth as much fervor?

  5. Looking In

Is Marissa secretly a tighrope walker?!?! She certainly walks that line between genius and insanity back and forth with ease!

Are they in Jamal’s room? Where do they do all their reviewing? I am really in love with the idea that all the editing is done while one or more of the members of the team is asleep in the same room.

@RaijinK – I’d like to believe it’s the former, but I dunno…much as I liked TDKR, I also can’t help but notice that the most blindly fanatical defenses of it occurred before the general public had even seen it.

@”Is slightly less fervor over TDKR compared to TDK a sign of fans getting more even-headed, or just TDKR not being worth as much fervor?”””

more likely after the gunning disgrace the news and a lot people with ugky agendas were looking for a scapegoat (as always blame violent/movies/comics etc) fans didnt want to troll because it would justify the witch hunt,

  9. MrGBH

So it’s Marissa’s dream that one day someone can proudly declare that they supported Iron Man throughout Civil War without them being called a fascist.
    I can get behind that.

  10. Bob

MrGBH, I think the bigger issue there isn’t whether someone who supported Iron Man is a facist, it’s what kind of concussion symptoms they were suffering from that allowed them to finish reading Civil War.

So do Marissa and Josh have a computer of their own, or are they just going to keep going to Jamal’s house…even when He’s asleep….

  12. DickGraysonisBruceWayneasBatman

    *room* forgot they were roomates

  13. HeinousActsZX

I think what MrGBH was trying to say, Bob, is that one day people can like or dislike what they want without being called stupid by people with different opinions.
Which, given I enjoyed Civil War, is exactly how your comment comes off.

  14. Greg Manuel

“Plus, the more I do it, the greater the chance that one of these assholes will trip and break their neck while rushing to the computer.”

Wouldn’t someone already be at their computer if they’re seeing Marissa’s comments? Maybe she should be shooting for a rage-induced anyeurism or something…

  15. Carl

Clearly she’s referring to someone reading her comments on their phone and having far too much bile to spew from a touch screen keyboard.

  16. deuorld

    Haters gonna hate.

“Plus, the more I do it, the greater the chance that one of these assholes will trip and break their neck while rushing to the computer.”

Remember: If someone says something in a way you don’t approve of, it is only right to wish them death in a horrifyingly painful matter.

Yeah, I’m not reading anymore of this series. Too bad, though, the comic page Linkara linked had me thinking there was potential fortunately it only took three other pages to show I was wrong.

  18. Merryman

Almost 4 years later, we learned how wrong Marissa was.
