Sigh, I must really piss of the Joshes of the world. I’ve asked at least 6 or 7 times if comic shops had copies of Scott Pilgrim. There was a screw-up with Diamond and they didn’t get their second shipment of volume 6 on time. So I end up going to the shop every few days to check with them. Hopefully this Tuesday. Or Wednesday. Or the week after that. Or, well by then I’ll just go to a chain store so I can read it before the movie.

But seriously, i understand josh’s reaction to the end of all star superman. not only was the end of the story itself sadly beautiful, the fact that it was the end of morrison’s work in out-of-continuity superman stories turned the final issue something pretty depressing. almost like the 5th volume of scott pilgrim. thank god the 6th was more cheering, or i would have commited suicide.

I need to pick up both the comics mentioned here.

Oh, and I finally got a copy. The independent shop still didn’t get it in by Friday, so I gave up and bought it from Forbidden Planet. Which is what I should have done on July 20th when they got copies in early.
