ARGH! I know the pain! I found a copy of issue number 1 when I was in Manhattan (either Jim Hanley’s Universe or Midtown I believe) , but I don’t think I’ll ever be able to find any other issues in shops. This may be something that I’ll only be able to find in trades, but I don’t know if it will be released as a trade.
Yeah, I’ve resigned myself to getting the trade as well. Hopefully it’ll be relevant enough by then that we can still do a strip I was planning on doing about it in the first place. 🙂
And meanwhile, the tango between Josh and Joyce continues. It’s painful all the way from here.
I’m also in agreement with Alex, here. Jesus, makes me reminisce about those really…shitty awful comic stores you go to sometimes. You know, the selection is alright, but even if it was gold, the antisocial wreck behind the counter smashes any hops of you regularly going there.
“Hey man, do you have any of the new Darkness?”, I would ask, and his silent anger at me not going with Marvel or DC was as overwhelming as his permanent outdoor voice. God. Makes me shudder to think, even now.
Anyway, I’m rambling! Great comic, guys, I look forward to this every week!

A similar event happened to me a few weeks ago at my shop with “Suicide Squad.”

“Legends Comic Shop” seems like the sort of place where they make up nicknames for the customers based on what they buy.
And smells like old books and carpet shampoo.

Only in my dreams would I be in a store where the employees are that awesome.

Cute strip, sadly made me cry as much as it made me laugh. Just so you know, Royal Historian of OZ #2 should be in shops next week.

“It’s a pretty good read as long as you don’t really care about the Avengers.” Heh…I liked that.

I love this series. Josh seems to have a massive goiter ins the 2nd panel. Just funny

@Dan Vado: Just to set your mind at ease, I did eventually find it! In a shop in Las Vegas, of all places.
