Because now that Hal is back, they have to ensure that he’s only depicted in the absolute bestest way possible, because he’s Hal F’n Jordan, that’s why HEAT still exists.
I think H.E.A.T. still exists just because after ten years of crusading, they don’t know what to do with themselves except whine about Hal Jordan. If Green Lantern’s release date ever coincides with the first week of April, DC should put out a book in which Hal turns evil and goes on a rampage again, preferably for a reason that’s horribly out of character. I’d LOVE to see the reaction to that.
@MrGBH: they are the rivals to the comiccritics gang, and have already knocked of the first page in google search. you can learn more about them in the comic that came out in December 6th, 2010.
And regarding the H.E.A.T. subject: i’m impressed they still exist because i thought that now that they have one of their own writing the GL comics, they would try at least lay low.
