DC is going to be “relaunching” Batman and Superman…again. The twist this time is they are going to be a series of graphic novels which will be stand alone but also ongoing serials.

Jeff Smith inks a panel. Man his lines are so smooth.

The Comic Journal online has officially launched although with some initial glitches.

Another Best comics of the decade list (this one from Time’s Techland) and another set of blow ups about what is and is not on it. Maybe someone should make a list of the Top worst Top comics of the decade lists.

Eiichiro Oda’s One Piece sold 14.7 million copies in Japan in 2009.

Marvel announces an all female creator anthology mini series called Girl Comics. It’s kind of a double edge sword. On one side, it’s cool to see such great talent all in one place. On the other, the environment that caused the need for this type of book probably isn’t going to go magically away.

Noah Berlatsky who recently moved his The Hooded Utilitarian blog to the new TJC.com, takes the site to task for problems the launch of the site.

First real look at the cast of the Scott Pilgrim film. I’m scared and excited at the same time.
